Doll Photography #2

Hi everyone,
I just finished writing part 1 of a photo story, but I first need to edit it before I post it... (It will be posted in my next post) but in the meantime I have some doll photos I would like to share with you.

When I took this photo, I had the song

going through my head. 

I like how this picture of Queen Miranda turned out. 

I like how the lighting looks in this photo of Molly.

I tried to make it look like Seven of Nine was walking or

running in this photo, and I think I succeeded.

Doll photography 1#

I have been trying to get into the habit of taking photos of my dolls everyday...
These posts will be very similar to the drawing posts I have on my writing blog, though I will still do photo shoots and photo stories.

Here are some of the photos I took:

                                 A photo I took of Cerise's shoes...
                                I have to say it was fun to take.

                                 

                                          A photo of Tracey, it turned out well...
                                        And the lighting in the background is pretty.

This photo of Belle for some reason never got into
the photo shoot  even though it was one of my favorite
photos I have taken of her.

                                          I think this photo of Tauriel turned out well...

                                           I like the angle of this photo.

A photo of Blondie's ring... (Unfortunately, it doesn't make the wearer of it invisible...
on the other hand if it did that, then I would be losing my dolls all over the place because I couldn't see them.)

I like her pose in this photo.

Tale as old as time (a photo shoot)

Hi everyone, 

I had been working on several other draft posts (One of which is a photo story)

before deciding to post this one. Anyway I thought it was 

a good time to do a photo shoot...

Here are the Photos: 

I like this picture of Belle... 

I like how the lighting turned out. 

This picture is one of the best photos I have taken 

of the beast. 

This one is one of my favorite pictures. 

The lighting in this photo wasn't as good. But I like 

the pose of the dolls. 

This one shows a good angle of both Belle and The Beast. 

I like the angle of this picture.

Though I didn't get her dress in the picture fully, 

I can imagine her spinning around in it.

Update: what's happening in this Picture extended voting

Hi everyone, I am finally back. I was unable to post for a few days. And now I am going back to doll photo shoots and photo story posts... But anyway, for What's Happening In This Picture? I decided I should extend the voting for it. I forget how many days I gave to vote (5 days? or less) but it didn't look like many people were able to vote and the poll closed very quickly. So I decided I should extended the voting...
the new date when the poll closes will be:

August 20th 

 It will give more time for people to vote then the last close time I gave.

Anyway...

My dolls will probably also make some posts too (if they have the time) so keep a eye out for a post from them.

Hi everyone, it is finally Friday which means I will choose my favorite captions from the What's Happening In This Picture(also thank you for the amazing captions)

Anyway here are a few of my favorites:

"At least they just wanted to know how you got your ear tips to stay on. Everyone kept asking me about my mom and whether or not Percy was coming..." said Annabeth.
"I know how that feels, whenever I wear my Gryffindor robes, everyone wants to know where Harry is or if I can make something levitate!" said Hermione.
"Well, you looked beautiful tonight as Belle!" said Annabeth. "But Legolas, you really need to remember that you're not in Middle Earth anymore. It was a party and it was supposed to be fun. You really scared that boy in the Orc costume, when you shot the arrow across the room. You scared me, too! I'm glad Hermione brought her wand and froze the arrow in mid-air!"
"And I'm glad everyone thought it was just an illusion," said Hermione, "I don't like having to do magic in front of a bunch of muggles!"

"The last time I dressed in my Gryffindor robes there were ten other Hermione Grangers at the costume party and I was given advice about how to make my costume more realistic. Today I thought it would be fun to do a "Caption that doll picture" like Liz does at American girl fan  but instead I'm calling mine "What's happening in this picture?" anyway here it is:

restoring doll hair

One of the things I love about dolls is their hair...

Some of my dolls have gotten really tangled hair over the years 

(or if I find one at a thrift store)  

So if your doll has really tangled hair here are some tips to get it controlled and smooth:

Wet it with water, it's one of the best ways. after you wet it with water start brushing it, until all the tangles are out. 

After that let it dry (it takes about 24 hours or less to dry)

After it has dried it will end up looking somewhat like this: 

After it's brushed then you can start to braid it or do whatever you want with it...
