Red Coats on The Horizon (Part 3): The Mysterious Time Travelers

                                     Here are the links to part one and part two of Red Coats on the Horizon

                                                          Greetings everyone,

I am going to be continuing Red Coats on the Horizon and Tracey Comes to Visit
Since I started this series in 2018, before people started really coming to my blog, I recommend checking out the previous parts of the series, so that you're not confused while reading. (The previous parts are linked above).

And just so you know, you can still vote for your favorite caption in this round's What's Happening in This Picture.

Anyway let's begin:

"What do you mean, another time traveler?" asked the blonde-haired woman. There were already a lot of time travelers throughout the different time period, so it seemed odd that one would go unnoticed.

"I mean..." said the purple-eyed woman slowly, "that another time traveler has somehow gone unnoticed."

"And you didn't realize that they existed until now?"

"No," replied the purple-eyed woman.

"Then you must go talk to them" said the blonde-haired woman, "and figure out how they got their powers, whether it be through a gift, or evil magic. If it is evil magic, you must put a stop to their time traveling once and for all."

The blonde-haired woman paused for a moment, and then continued. "Then I can trust you both with this mission in finding the time traveler, in whatever time period they may be from?"

Both the girls nodded. However, the girl with the purple eyes was worried about what would happen if the time traveler turned out to be time traveling for reasons that had ill intent behind them. And if the time traveler was evil, would they try and attack the academy? After all, if they knew how to time travel, surely they would know how to get to the place where time sat still...

"Good" said the woman with blonde hair, "then report back to the academy once you have found them..."

And with that, she faded away.

Meanwhile, in 18th Century America, Felicity began finding clothes to wear. She knew she needed to disguise herself, so she figured the best way to do it would be to "borrow" clothes from Ben.

She had taken clothes from him before and used them for a longer period. Maybe he wouldn't mind if she took some clothes for a one-time event. In fact, she was sure he wouldn't mind if she did it again...especially if in the end it helped people around her...

And then she would also "borrow" some clothes from the historical reenactment place where Sarah worked. It would only be for a little bit...so Felicity doubted she would mind...

Now about her alias. She was to disguise herself as a boy, so she had to think of a good name for herself...

She thought for a little bit and then came up with a name: Felix!
Yes, she would go by the name Felix! That was a prefect alias.

To be continued...

Hello everyone,

I had a lot of fun reading everyone's captions for this picture. 😃

And here are my favorite captions:

Here are some of my favorite captions from this round of What is Happening in This Picture? Once again, if your caption didn't get chosen, please don't feel bad. I can only choose a small number of captions for each contest. Even if you don't get chosen this time, you will have a chance to leave another caption on the next one.

Z: So much for action shots Sarah, let's call it a day.

Happy Holidays! (A Photo Shoot)

Happy Holidays everyone!

It has been a while since I did a photo shoot with Rowena. The last photo shoot I did with her was in this post. (Next time I will be posting my favorite captions from this round's What's Happening in This Picture, in order for you (the readers) to vote for the winning caption, so keep an eye out for that.)

I wanted to do another photo shoot with Rowena again, so without further ado here it is:

I really like this photo.

I really like this photo for some reason.

I like the angle of this photo.

Meet My Dolls #1 (Sarah, Z, and Alfred)

 I have posted two of these stop motions before on my blog (one of them I made recently), but since they were at the end of blog posts rather than having a whole post dedicated to them, I decided to make a post dedicated to them.

 I am going to make more of these stop motions,  so this will be a series of short animations relating to getting to know my dolls better.  Also, as a quick reminder, you can still leave a caption on this round's What's Happening in This Picture?

Let's begin:

You can also watch it here

Here is Sarah's introduction. Sarah was my first American Girl doll, so I decided she was the perfect doll for the first stop motion.

You can also watch it here

The second is Suzanne "Z,"'s introduction. Given that Z is one of my favorite AG dolls, I thought she should be the next doll to make a stop motion of.

You can also watch it here

And finally (for this part), I did a stop motion of Alfred. Unlike Z and Sarah he is a Carpatina doll (in case anyone is wondering that is why he looks so different).

Give Thanks! (Thanksgiving Tag)

Happy (late) Thanksgiving!

 I was tagged by Hailey at Hailey's Joyful Dolls. Thank you so much, Hailey. 😁

Even though I do normally make posts on holidays, I decided I would do this one a little after. I wanted to use the tag to reflect on Thanksgiving, rather than posting it directly on the day.

The logo:

The rules:

1. Answer the questions truthfully :)

2. Tag 1-10 friends

3. Comment Give Thanks! or Be Thankful :) or you can feature it in your blog post

4. Tag the creator

5. Use the Give Thanks! - Thanksgiving Tag photo (the photo I used above) if you want to :)

What is your favorite thing to do on Thanksgiving?

I usually like seeing friends and family during that time. It is nice to see family members you have not seen in a long time.

Do you dress your dolls up for Thanksgiving?

I like to, but I also like to take photos of my dolls outside when the leaves have just fallen.

What do you eat on Thanksgiving?

Here's a list of some of the foods I like (for Thanksgiving):

* Cranberry relish.

* Pie, different types of pies (Cranberry, Pumpkin, etc.)

* Pumpkin Bread.

* Turkey.

What are you thankful for this year?

In no particular order:

* My Family (including our dogs, who are part of the family).

* My Dolls

* My blogs

* Yoga and Tai Chi

* My teachers

* The Theatre

* Animation and art

* The fact that Zoom exists (the world would be so quiet otherwise).

* My friends.

Did you or do you plan on taking a family photo with your dolls?

I plan to, it seems like fun.  I haven't done it in a long time, so I think it would be fun to do again.

Did you enjoy this tag?

Yes I did. It was really fun and I enjoyed answering the questions.

I tag:

Queen Elsa

Grace

Madison

Annabelle

And anyone who wants to do it. (Given that I am a little late to doing this, feel free to do the tag next Thanksgiving if you want).

The questions (for copy and pasting purposes):

What is your favorite thing to do on Thanksgiving?

Do you dress your dolls up for Thanksgiving?

What do you eat on Thanksgiving?

What are you thankful for this year?

Did you or do you plan on taking a family photo with your dolls?

Did you enjoy this tag?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------What are you thankful for? And do you dress up your dolls for different holidays?
